Worked with computers since I wrote my first BASIC program submitted on puched tape to a PDP-8 and waited a week to get the bugs back. Man that was a slow response time. Then Fortran IV on punched cards. Worked with the first PC clones in the 80s when getting an external 10MB hard disk was a marvel and using dBase IV and Supercalc! Now enjoy writing programs using jQuery and node. I've now decided to learn COBOL! Why? Gave up on that and have moved on to Android development. Cannot find a paradigm I like. AppInventor2 is straightforward but no code to edit and work with, can't stand jigsaws. ReactNative did my head in, Flutter ditto, Android native a nightmare and now on to .net Maui which is giving me some hope!
